Bruno is a "chatty" 25-pound cat who likes to stand on his back feet like a round, furry little egg-shaped man when hungry.
He's looking for a new home. Bruno is one of the adoptable pets on offer at Wright Way Rescue in Morton Grove, Ill. His preference is to be petted while eating, and if you decline to do so, he will meow and stare at you while he grudgingly eats anyway. He likes to be petted on the top of his head, sides of his face, his neck and his spine, but absolutely not his belly. He loves to drink water, but will not drink the water if it's placed in the same room as his food. Although his rotund physique is both striking and adorable, he is on a diet to get him down to a healthier size. Applications have been pouring in, with hundreds of inquiries about Bruno coming from around the world since the shelter posted about him on Wednesday.
