Did Taylor Swift steal Teresa La Dart's Lover?
The writer is accusing Taylor of stealing the concept for her best-selling paperback from a book that La Dart published more than a decade ago. TMZ is reporting, La Dart has filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift, saying she not only lifted the title and cover vibe of the book, but swiped the entire concept, namely a "recollection of past years memorialized in a combination of written and pictorial components."
Taylor Swift's Lover book has sold 2.9 million copies, La Dart is asking for $1 million in damages.
