Jeff Bezos is going to blast off into space next month, July 20th is the date.
The Amazon founder is not going alone, he asked his brother Mark to join him to be the first people launched into space on a rocket built by his company Blue Origin.
The billionaire broke the news on Instagram saying, "Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend."
The winning bidder of an online auction, which currently has a high bid of $2.8 million, will also be aboard.
The plan is to fly to the edge of space, just high enough to get a great look at Earth, then parachute down and landing somewhere in West Texas.
