90-year-old actor William Shatner officially became the oldest person in space as Blue Origin successfully launched the Star Trek legend and three others to the edge of space. He was one of four that experienced the 10-minute flight and landed smoothly in the West Texas desert. When Shatner exited the shuttle, he was obviously very emotional. He called the experience "indescribable" and said, "everybody in the world needs to do this. Everybody in the world needs to see this." He added, "I am so filled with emotion with what just happened."
