Mykel Gordon, an employee at a Chick-fil-A in Florida, heard a woman scream help while holding a baby. He saw a man trying to grab her keys and carjack her in the parking lot. He said, "I was in the middle of an order, and I hear a call from the other side of the store all the way over there, I was like—I got to help somebody. I got to help. Being a father of two children, I really hope someone would do the same thing for me."
He ran over and tackled the man and stopped the carjacking.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office gave him a shout-out on Twitter and on Thursday, Sheriff Eric Aden met Gordon at Chick-fil-A to thank him and present him with a community service award.
