Joey Lykins lost his nose piercing five years ago, couldn't find it anywhere. He finally gave up looking and decided to buy a new one and move on in life. The other night he woke up with a terrible cough and had a hard time breathing. He went to the hospital, they took a chest X-ray and guess what.... his lost septum ring was sitting in one of his lungs. He says, "The doctor came in and showed me the X-ray picture and said, ‘Does this look familiar?' I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me! I’ve been looking for that.'" Doctors performed emergency surgery and were able to remove the piercing.
Time to take inventory, he has 12 other piercings.
