During his Disney Plus docu-serie Limitless, Chris Hemsworth learned that he's at high risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease. The blood tests confirmed his "biggest fear" and he will now be trying to take "preventative steps."
He decided to take a break from acting to try and find a way to end up like his grandfather, he ended up forgetting his loved ones names and pretty much his entire past.
Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia. On Limitless, a docuseries about time, aging, and dying, Hemsworth learned that he's between eight and 10 times more likely to develop the disease.
