A Florida woman is being praised for her toughness after she fought off a male attacker inside a gym.
Nashali Alma was working out alone in the gym at her Tampa apartment complex when a man, identified as Xavier Thomas-Jones, showed up at the locked door. She assumed that he forgot his key, so she let him in. Later, he approached her and grabbed her in a attempt to sexually assault her. She fought back and gave him a beating he clearly wasn't expecting. She grabbed his beard and repeatedly punched him in the face and head until she was able to break away from him and run out of the gym.
She was able to call 911 and police found Jones the next day and arrested him. He is charged with sexual battery and kidnapping.
