One of my goals in life while living here in CO is to hike every 14er. Of course I'm starting with the easier ones and building up my strength and cardio.
Mt Sneffels is a great hike! Covered in snow now, but soon it will look like this beautiful picture. Many people camp around this ice blue lake, but you could reach the top and down in about 6-8 hours. It's definitely a morning start. The top view is a huge payoff and well worth the grind. The rest of the weekend you can check out Telluride or other near cities.
