TMSG: Grandma Builds Wheelchair Ramps From Legos

62-year-old wheelchair user Rita Ebel has dealt with plenty of businesses not having accessible ramps for her to use. She's been in a wheelchair since she was involved in a car accident 25 years ago.

Now, the grandmother is helping make sure other people in her position don't have to face the same thing. She spends two to three hours a day building made-to-order ramps made out of Legos and glue.

She told Reuters that anyone could end up in a situation similar to hers, so with the help of her husband she wants to help everyone have access to ramps.

Now, her idea is catching abroad. She has sent her ramp building instructions to Austria and Switzerland and there is interest from Spain and a school in the United States.
