The Bobby Bones Show's annual Christmas gift exchange went down on the show this morning!
This year's gift exchange was different in years past because Macy's gave the show a variety of gift cards to spend on their Christmas gifts this year. This was the first time the show didn't have to spend any of their own money, so there were 9 different gift cards in red little Macy's bags. The show drew out of a hat for the person they had to buy a gift for, and then they got to come up to Bobby's desk and select a red little bag for the amount they were set to spend on their person. There were gift cards in the amount of (1) $10, (1) $25, (2) $50, (2) $75, (1) $100, (1) $500, and (1) $1000. The show didn't have to spend the entirety of their gift card on their person if they didn't want to. This year's theme did make everyone have to buy gifts that started with the letter I, and people definitely had different interpretations of the I.
Kicking things off was Morgan. Raymundo had her and he had a $100 gift card. He gifted her a diamond bracelet under the guise of "Ice."
Then Raymundo was next and Morgan had him. She drew a $500 gift card for him so he had multiple gifts. His gifts included an ice cream maker, Jimmy Choo Intense Men's Cologne, In case of emergency snacks, and Ray Ban sunglasses (I wear). Morgan admitted she did spend $20 on a snack for herself because she was hungry while she was walking around for hours shopping.
Abby was up next and Mike D purchased gifts for her with a $25 gift card. He got her a bag of cashews and some fancy lip balm under the guise of "Impulse Buy Section" at Macy's.
Scuba opened up his gift from Amy next. Amy had $50 to spend on him and purchased him a nice pair of Isotoner gloves.
Bobby opened up his gift next from Eddie. Eddie had a $75 gift card to spend on Bobby and also purchased him some Isotoner gloves. He also got him a memory foam pillow whose brand started with I.
Amy opened up her gift from Lunchbox and she barely took it out of the box because it was a lace nightie. Lunchbox had $50 to spend on her and bought it under the guise of "intimates."
Mike D opened up his gift from Abby, who unfortunately only had $10 to spend on him. She purchased him a pack of Izod socks.
Lunchbox was grumpy the entire time because he didn't think he got the $1,000 gift card spent on him and he was correct. Bobby purchased a nice button down shirt and tie for Lunchbox with a $75 gift card. Bobby bought it under the guise of "I hope he never wears a hoodie to the CMAs again."
Eddie was the last one to open up his presents from Scuba Steve who pulled the $1,000 gift card! Eddie was so stoked and Scuba was intentional with how he spent the money. One gift was for Eddie, one was for his wife, and one was for his kids. The first gift he opened was a $1,000 diamond bracelet that was on sale and Scuba bought it for Eddie to give his wife for everything she does for him and their kids. Then Scuba bought Eddie a matching diamond men's bracelet so he could match his wife. Lastly, Scuba Steve did a gift card for the last couple hundred dollars so Eddie could take his kids to go buy toys. Scuba admitted he did buy a pair of pink unicorn shoes for his daughter with some of the gift card because he had so much to spend.
