"Chelsea Tries It" - Coors Brewery!

I recently visited Golden, CO!! There's so much to do packed in this little mountain town.

I heard so much about the Coors Brewery so I HAD to try it out!

The tour is completely FREE!! You park about 5 minutes away, then wait in a line for a bus that takes you over to the brewery!

I HIGHLY suggest getting there for when they open at 10 a.m. so you get in line early. By the time we left around 12:45 after the tour, the line for the bus was about 45 minutes long...

See the gallery below!! :

The town is called "Golden" because back in the day the town had a mini "gold rush" because gold was found in the local mountains. That is also why the "Banquet" cans are gold!

You got to see all the different cans and covers of the "Banquet" beer throughout the years:

They are also LEGIT making beer and packaging it at the plant allll day long:

Also, NEVER knew about these numbers on the bottoms of the can, now I know:

The best part is at the end of the tour. You go to this room that's set up with a bar, and you get to try 3 of any of their beers for FREE! And they're not just little baby sample sizes, they're full beers!

Seriously so awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone living/visiting the Denver area. It's only a 30 minute drive from the city and SO worth it.

I mean, it is FREE 99, doesn't get better than that! Haha.

How many people taste test a batch of beer before it's distributed? Find out in the tour video below!

Ohhh!! and at the end you get a "Golden Ticket," that gets you anywhere from 5%-20% off coupons for local stores!!
