The Dumb Friends League is having a HUGE adoptathon!!
Meet your new best pal at the Dumb Friends League Adoptathon Saturday, June 26, and Sunday, June 27 at the Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver and the Buddy Center in Castle Rock. To pair pets with people, the League will be offering a name-your-own-price adoption fee special with a goal of connecting 125 pets with their new families in one tail-wagging good weekend. And, while we all know money can’t buy happiness, naming your own adoption fee for a new friend with paws is close!
And YES! YOUU name the price!!
“We have an unusually high number of pets currently available for adoption and more coming in every day,” said Katie Parker, Vice President of Operations at the Dumb Friends League. “We are ready to connect cats and dogs with people, and we need the community’s help. We encourage anyone interested in adding a new pet to their life to consider adopting.”
With plenty of great pets waiting to find their homes, the DDFL thinks you’ll find your partner in adventures or just snuggles during the “name your price” adoption special! Stop by the Malone Center or the Buddy Center this weekend and grow your family by leaps and paws when you start a lifetime of love and companionship and become a pet’s human.
All cat and dog adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip ID and a free wellness visit with a participating veterinarian. The standard adoption-screening process still applies during adoption promotions. The Adoptathon is presented with support from Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
