According to Fox31:
Mayor Michael Hancock said the indoor mask mandate/proof of vaccination public health order will not be extended. Beginning Friday, masks will not be required indoors in Denver. However, masks are still required in schools and child care facilities.
Other places masks are still required are on all RTD buses, trains and other public transportation, and Denver International Airport.
Denver Department of Public Health and Environment’s Bob McDonald said modeling shows lifting the face-covering mandate is safe as cases continue to decrease and it appears that the omicron surge is diminishing. Denver is at 78% vaccination, Hancock said.
