Jason Aldean is ready to get ‘Back In The Saddle’ with his new tour kicking off Aug. 5, 2021 in Virginia Beach, VA.
Ahead of the tour, Jason sat down with Cody Alan to reveal that he is optimistic about feeling rusty.
“I don’t know how you take almost a year and a half off and not feel a little rusty,” laughs Jason. “I will say this, as an artist, we did this before everything shut down. I mean, you are playing so much that it doesn’t really take long to get back into the groove of everything.”
“It’s kind of like riding a bike, a little bit,” says the country superstar. “I think we kind of psych ourselves out a bit because it’s the anticipation of having to go play and knowing that you have been off. But, I feel like once you get on stage, especially after you have had a few rehearsals, you get on stage, and it all starts to come back.”
“We have all been doing this for a long time,” shares Jason, who broke into the country music scene in 1998. “I think we will be a little rusty to an extent. But, I think that the fans knowing we have been off will give us a free pass for a few mistakes during a show, so I am not really worried about it.”
