Miss Rodeo Colorado WINS Rodeo America

BIG NEWS for Colorado! Our Miss Rodeo Colorado, just won Miss Rodeo America!!

Below is the info about our new Miss Rodeo America, Congrats Hailey.

Hailey Frederiksen is the 23-year-old daughter of Trevin and Megan Frederiksen. Originally from Platteville, Colorado, she currently resides in the Centennial town of Wellington, Colorado. Growing up on her family’s ranch as an only child, Hailey’s strong passion for horses and the western way of life began at a very young age. Following in her mom’s footsteps, she started entering barrel races at the age of two, which then led her to compete in local saddle clubs and jackpots across the state. When she wasn’t in the saddle, she was an active member of 4-H, showing market and breeding swine for ten consecutive years.

To enhance her strong voice and advocacy for agriculture, Hailey became a first generation college graduate, earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences with a concentration in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University, where she was a leader amongst her peers as an Animal Science Steward. With the ambition to earn her master’s, she plans to work within the agricultural industry, by creating more consumer transparency in our nation’s food industry, and continue being a proponent of the western lifestyle. As the 64th and 65th Miss Rodeo Colorado, Hailey is eager to share her passion as she devotes her year to the promotion and education of rodeo and agriculture to inspire our youth and educate the public.

Beyond the crown, Hailey enjoys barrel racing, learning to breakaway rope, dancing, spending quality time with her family, in and out of the arena, and is always eager to learn!
