The 1980s is the most popular fashion decade in the U.S. It is the most searched for decade in 36 out of 50 states, including Colorado, with New York, Texas and Florida searching for it the most.
The 1990s is the most popular fashion decade in 14 out of 50 states – New York, Georgia and Illinois are searching for 90s fashion inspiration the most.
The 1950s and 1960s are the least popular fashion decades in the U.S., according to research that analyzed Google search data.
1980s fashion was so fun with a distinctive style filled with exaggerated silhouettes, bright colors, big earrings, jelly bracelets, florescent colors and fingerless laced gloves....if you were a Madonna fan.
