Denise started her broadcast career at the age of 15 when she cracked the mic and said, “There’s a blue light special happening now in the kids dept.” Yes, she knew she loved talking to the public while working at K-Mart. From Hot AC to Country, she has worked in almost every genre of music. Denise’s love for TV came when she had the opportunity to work with MTV during one of their spring break specials in Lake Havasu, definitely a crazy time! Fast forward to when she landed the opportunity to be host of Colorado and Company on KUSA for over 15 years. She won an Emmy for her television work and has been nominated 4 times. Denise also won Best Specialty Reporter from the Colorado Broadcaster Awards. In radio, she picked up several Colorado Broadcast Awards for practically every daypart and Best Station Personality while hosting the morning show. She loves to help lift the community by emceeing galas and supporting many non-profits. After her dads passing of cancer last year, Denise decided to become a local celebrity ambassador for the American Cancer Society. She's been married for 27 years and has two sons.
